1. The competition is OPEN to polytechnics, diploma and degree students from all higher education institutions.

2. Participation is open to local and international institutions.

3. Only student-led research or innovation projects are eligible for submission.

4. Each team must appoint at least one (1) faculty advisor from an academic institution.

1. Each team may consist of a maximum of five (5) members.

2. The first listed member (Team Leader) must be a student who is actively conducting the research or innovation.

3. Additional team members may include lecturers or researchers, but only after the first student member.

4. A minimum of one (1) academic advisor from the faculty is mandatory.

5. Team members are recognized strictly according to the names submitted during registration. No changes are allowed after submission.

1. Each team is required to submit:

·    An abstract written in English, with a maximum length of 200 words. An acceptance notification will be sent via email after the abstract has been evaluated by the review panel.

·    A three (3)-minute innovation video, only after the abstract has been accepted to be uploaded in youtube and link to access the video to be shared to us. 

2. Submissions must be completed before the stated deadline.

3. Late submissions will not be entertained.

1. Video duration must be exactly three (3) minutes.

2. The video must have:

   • Clear audio and proper lighting

   • Minimum background noise

   • Appropriate, polite, and neat attire

   • English subtitle (if the speaking language is not English)

3. The video must be uploaded to team leader’s YouTube account.

4. Participants must submit the YouTube video link through the official submission channel.

5. The YouTube link must be:

   • Publicly accessible, and

   • Downloadable by the organizers and judges.

6. Videos that cannot be accessed or downloaded will be disqualified.

1. Abstract submission must be in English only.

2. Innovation Video Presentation:

   • be presented in English with subtitle, OR

   • be presented in any preferred language, provided that English subtitles are included.

3. Submissions without English subtitles (if not presented in English) will not be evaluated.

1. All submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges from academia and industry.

2. Entries will be assessed based on the official Scoring Guide.

3. The decision of the judges is FINAL.

4. No appeals, complaints, or correspondence regarding judging decisions will be entertained.
