West Visayas State University, one of the leading universities in the Philippines, has six satellite campuses. Its premier satellite campus, West Visayas State University–Lambunao Campus, was founded in 1947. This vision became a reality with the establishment of the first General High School on a 90,499-square-meter site in the heart of the Municipality of Lambunao. In 1977, the school evolved into the Lambunao Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).

Progress continued steadily, culminating in the integration of LIST into the West Visayas State University family in 2000, as mandated by Republic Act No. 8292, known as the Commission of Higher Education Modernization Act.

For over a decade, the WVSU-Lambunao Campus has relentlessly pursued excellence in education and community service. A significant milestone occurred in December 2009 when the campus submitted its Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) program for its first AACCUP (Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines) preliminary visit, making it the first external campus to seek accreditation. Since then, we have made significant strides, with all our curricular programs earning accreditation from AACCUP: BEED, BSED (English and Math) at Level III; BTVTED, BSIT, BSHM, BS Information Technology, MAEd (Reading & Administration and Supervision), Doctor of Education, MSCrim, and BS Criminology, with the latter being our flagship program, at Level II. Additionally, BSED(Fil) achieved Level I accreditation. The school has also undergone evaluation by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and obtained ISO Certification in 2018, meeting the 9001:2015 standard. Furthermore, the Commission on Higher Education awarded the campus a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC). We have expanded our program offerings to include a BSED Major in Social Studies.

Our accomplishments extend to producing graduates who have excelled both locally and internationally. We take pride in being one of the external campuses that have produced topnotchers in the Licensure Examination for Teachers.

Since its inception in 1983, the MIT Group of Institutions has consistently set the benchmark for professional education in our country. Over the years, we have established 73 institutions with a combined student strength of more than 50,000. Within this group, we have established several reputed institutions in the fields of Technical, Medical, and Management, as well as various innovative establishments that have shaped the destiny of thousands of students and contributed significantly to the nation-building process.

PERI Institute of Technology (PERI IT), established in 2010 by the PERI Educational and Charitable Trust, is located at Mannivakkam near West Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and approved by AICTE, the college has steadily evolved into a recognized engineering institution known for its commitment to quality education and student-centric learning. Spread across a 15-acre campus, PERI IT offers modern facilities that include well-equipped laboratories, multimedia-enabled seminar halls, spacious classrooms, computing centers, and a comprehensive library. Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), a prominent public university located in East Java, Indonesia, was established in 1964 as IKIP Surabaya and became UNESA in 1999. In 2022, University status transformed to be a legal entity (PTN-BH) that manages all the academic and non-academic matters autonomously.  As of 2025, it serves approximately 63.772 students with 1496 academic staff and hosts around 450 international students. UNESA is recognized in global rankings, placing in the 1501+ band in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025 and 601+ in THE Asia Rankings. It also achieved a position in the 601–800 global range and ranked 15th nationally in the THE Impact Rankings 2024. According to QS Asia University Rankings 2025, UNESA is listed in the 901+ band, reflecting its growing presence in regional and global academic landscapes. American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) is one of the top-ranked private universities in Bangladesh. It was established in 1994 by the late Dr. Anwarul Abedin and has since been committed to improving the quality of education. Guided by its motto, “Where Leaders are Created,” AIUB has consistently focused on academic excellence, co-curricular activities, research, and social contributions.

The university currently has over 14,000 students enrolled in its internationally accredited programs across five faculties: Business Administration (FBA), Engineering (FE), Science and Technology (FST), Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), and Health and Life Sciences (FHLS). VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VELS University) is a renowned private university located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established under the aegis of the Vaels Educational Trust, which was founded in 1992 by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh — a visionary academic leader and prominent educationist — in memory of his father, Shri Isari Velan, who was a former minister in the government of Dr. M.G. Ramachandran (MGR).

The university officially attained the status of a "Deemed to be University" in 2008, recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. It is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across diverse fields.

Gandhigram Rural Institute (GRI-DTBU) was founded in 1956 by two close associates of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. G. Ramachandran and Dr. T. S. Soundaram Ramachandran, to carry forward Gandhiji’s vision of Nai Talim—an education that integrates knowledge and work, values and skills. The Institute stands as a model of holistic, value-based, and skill-oriented education for rural transformation. The vision of GRI was also influenced by global and national educational paradigms, including:  

• Folk High School model of Denmark by N.F.S. Grundtvig (1844),  

• Land Grant University model of USA (1862),  

• Sriniketan Experiment of Shantiniketan by Rabindranath Tagore (1922),  

• Recommendations from Dr. Radhakrishnan Education Commission (1948–49) and the National Council for Rural Higher Education under Dr. K. Shrimali. 

Declared a Deemed University in 1976, GRI is administered by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and funded through the UGC. The university offers over 61 academic programmes across 8 schools, 19 departments, and 9 centres, including B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Habitat Development), M.Tech in Renewable Energy, and B.Sc. The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), established on October 27, 1976, is a prestigious, multi-disciplinary public institution recognized as one of Vietnam's National Key Universities. Diponegoro University (Undip), was founded in 1956 initially as a private university aimed at expanding access to higher education in Central Java, Indonesia. In 1961, it officially gained the status of a public university through a government decree, marking a significant milestone in its development.

The name "Diponegoro" is derived from Prince Diponegoro, a revered national hero known for leading a major rebellion against Dutch colonial rule during the Java War (1825–1830). His bravery and unwavering commitment to Indonesian independence inspired the founding spirit of the university, symbolizing courage, patriotism, and dedication to national development.

Over the years, Diponegoro University has made remarkable strides in academic excellence and institutional growth. It was awarded an "A" (Excellent) accreditation rating by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT), achieving a commendable score of 361, valid from 2013 to 2018.

CREATIVE University
